Our cities are inherently shaped by numerous power struggles and collaborations between the local and the global, the private and the public, the individual and society. Throughout my studies and research into architecture and urban studies I have sought to unravel this "dark matter" and to identify new tools and approaches for a 21st century model of urban governance.
